Submission Guidelines

1. Before sending anything I'll need to know a bit about the job, so tell me about it.
Use COPYEDITING in the subject line.
Format your work to comply with the example below. It is the standard manuscript submission format used by print publishers.
Tell me your word count.
For large jobs (45-100K words) I need to see your first 5 double-spaced pages. They will tell me how much work is needed so I can give you a delivery date.
Pages with 12 lines or less and chapter starts are FREE!
Payment is via Paypal. I'll send you an invoice based on page count.
You pay them; they send me notice of your payment.
I will send you an ORDER NUMBER to use in the SUBJECT LINE.
The order number is also your Paypal transaction number.
Send your manuscript as an attached e-mail file.
Send the STYLE SHEET--with the same order number--in a separate attached file.
You must use the ORDER NUMBER or the attachments will not be opened.
2. The work must be in standard manuscript format.

3: It must be a Word or MS Word .doc or a .rtf (rich text format) file.
Document can be converted to a .pdf file for you at no extra charge.
DO NOT SEND THE WORK AS A .PDF FILE.
4. Include a style sheet in a separate file
The STYLE SHEET is a list of correctly spelled proper names used in the work.
It must include words in a foreign or fantasy language or made-up words or phrases.
The style sheet keeps Sean from morphing into Shawn.
5. The work as an attached file to your e-mail will go to:
Please write first before sending anything. Check #1 above!
Remove all blocks/filters to your server so you can receive e-mail and attachments from the address above.
If you don't--well, it would be pretty silly if I can't contact you.
6. Payment
Is always through safe, secure Paypal. They keep a third party record of all transactions and automatically make currency conversions.
Make sure your Paypal information is CURRENT.
No checks, no money orders, NO exceptions.
No exceptions to the no exceptions.
